Zoom! I see, I see what you don't see is an educational viewing, searching and observation game from the Thuisbasis series, published in 2007. The game is specially developed for preschoolers and lets children practice observation, focused searching and playing together through play.

The colorful game boards are full of all kinds of details. By looking carefully and searching with purpose, children go on an adventure into different worlds. The six themes are the snow, the beach, the forest, the universe, the underwater world and animals in Africa.

What does it stimulate/practice?

👀 Visual perception – looking carefully and learning to recognize details.
🔎 Focused searching – going on a focused search for objects and people.
🧠 Concentration – keeping your attention on a search task for longer.
⚡ Speed and reactions – finding as many correct things as possible within the available time.
🤝 Playing together – searching together, taking turns and following the rules of the game.

How do you play?

Spin the task spinner. This shows what you have to look for on the game board. This can be a specific object or person, but also something with a certain color, shape or characteristic.

As soon as the hourglass is turned over, the search begins. Try to find as many correct objects or people as possible on the board in the shortest time possible and mark them with your colored stickers.

When time is up, the found items are recorded on the score sheet. This creates a playful challenge where children have to look carefully and search with purpose. The game contains 24 different search tasks divided over 6 themes.
