The Big Woods Orchestra – Guido van Genechten | Clavis

🐦🎶 An atmospheric picture book in which the birds of the forest perform a beautiful spring concert together.

In The Big Woods Orchestra by Flemish author and illustrator Guido van Genechten, the forest comes alive with music. When spring arrives, the birds prepare for a special concert.

The rooster announces the start of the new day. The tawny owl warms up its voice and the great spotted woodpecker taps out the rhythm. Slowly, more and more birds join in. Each brings its own sound and eventually all the birds together form one large and harmonious forest orchestra. 🌳🎵

With his atmospheric illustrations, Guido van Genechten beautifully captures the sounds and life of the forest. A lovely book to discover and talk about with children about birds, music, nature and working together.
