🧙 A fairytale adventure about friendship, daring to be different and being allowed to be yourself.
In Hekselien and the Troll Child, Hekselien, together with her friend Moes and the friendly dragon Bonkie, discovers a strange creature in the witch's forest. It turns out to be Knolle, a little troll who has run away from Troll Land.
Knolle is laughed at by the other trolls because he is different. He doesn't like being dirty and smelly at all and would rather have a nice bath with soap. 🛁 Hekselien helps him with a lovely bubble bath, but when Knolle gets homesick for his family, Hekselien and her friends decide to take him back to Troll Land.
However, an exciting adventure awaits them there when they are captured by the big trolls. Can Hekselien, Moes, Bonkie and Knolle find a solution together?
🌿 A story with a beautiful message
The story shows in a playful and imaginative way that it is not bad at all to be different. Themes such as bullying, friendship, hygiene, being yourself and looking out for each other are addressed in a natural way.
The large, atmospheric illustrations bring the witch's forest and Troll Land beautifully to life. Thanks to the fold-out pages, some illustrations extend extra wide, allowing the story to shine even more. ✨
